And the word of the day is...
Jan. 10th, 2009 03:37 pmWe have a calendar at work. It is a Battle of the Sexes calender. It has questions, those for the women and those for the guys. And all of the female questions are male oriented and vice-a-versa. I never know any of the answers to the guy questions. Maybe one a month. They are all about spas and celebrity gossip and make up and shoes and stuff. And the questions for the women I totally do know about movies and awesome bands and things of that nature.
So, Dr. K and I were sitting there and she was flipping through, looking at some questions and mentioning how sad it was she couldn't answer the male questions but could answer the female questions. I told her that I have the exact same problem. I guess we are more masculine. So she started flipping through and reading out some of the guy questions such as "What kind of shoe has a heel 2 inches or shorter?" Big shrug. "What type of treatments are orange sticks used for?" Another shrug. "What is a merkin?" A merkin? We had no idea, so Dr. Kinne looked at the answer.
A merkin, my friend, is a pubic wig. And it is my new word of the day.
