I got these fortunes after the boards as we all ordered out for Chinese food. In honor of various events, I would like to finally take them out of my pocket and put them in my journal.
"Awaken your divine nature within." -This was Chris's fortune. It made me grin as I then said 'Go ahead. I want to see it.' Well, needless to say, I feel it has been awakened. And I would like to take partial responsibility for it.
"An optimistic attitude is half of success." -This was my mom's. She just kind of rolled her eyes and said 'duh'. But it is true.
"Be a first rate version of yourself, not a second rate version of someone else." -My first one. And I feel I've been living up to it pretty well. I'm proud of who I am and happy that I am myself and not someone else anymore. I'm not trying to fit in. I would rather stick out than go with the flow.
"Accept the next proposition you hear." -*gasp* What are they trying to tell me?! Well, one way or the other, I did. *grins*
