Yesterday was a fairly wonderful day. It started off simply enough with waking up and my husband making me breakfast. Granted, it was only a bowl of cereal, but it was so sweet of him. Then we packed up some goodies in the car and drove to Saratoga for a picnic. He said he had a surprise for me but wouldn't tell me what it is.
So we went to the park in Saratoga and sat on a rock outside SPAC that was all nice and warm and ate some tasty treats. On the way, we had picked up some little desserts, so Chris had some molten chocolate cake and I had some chocolate mousse. Then we strolled around the park for a bit before going to downtown Saratoga at my behest.
I haven't been to Saratoga since I was a very little girl, so it was neat to walk around downtown Saratoga. We stopped into a few stores to ooo and ahh at things before he pulled me in to my surprise. He had bought us a 1 1/2 hour couples massage. Oh. My. God. It felt SO good, especially after the week that I had been having, to have muscles worked on. And this was Chris's first massage ever. He really enjoyed it.
After the massage we walked around a little bit more until most of the stores closed. Then we headed off for a wonderful dinner of just sushi at Sushi Tei, which I think it our favorite sushi place in the area.
After dinner, we headed home to watch a movie and build a puzzle together. It was a wonderful day. My husband is so amazingly good to me and I simply adore him.
