NYC is CRAZY!

So, I was like, I deserve to eat out tonight. I remembered seeing a thai place on the corner and I was dying for some chicken satays. But there was no one in the restaurant! Grr! So I started wandering down Broadway to see what was there. At one point I hit an area of construction and there were a bunch of cars just parked around doing nothing for no good reason. And all of a sudden I heard my name my whole name (Laura Katt), in a very very thick, barely understandable accent. It was an Indian guy in a great big town car. I took a step closer and he mumbled something incomprehensible. "What?" He asked if I went to Laguardia, and I said yes, because I do. And he told me to step closer, come here, and I took a step back and was like 'No, I'm just wandering around' and quickly sidestepped the car and ducked into the first restaurant I saw. A Vietnemese restaurant.
And that is the story as to how I ended up eating lemongrass chicken with Jasmine rice tonight.
Oh yeah. And how crazy fucked up some people in NYC are.
