Tonight was zombie night. I love hosting. It was a small gathering, but I think we made everyone happy. We had a meat/cheese tray, I made chicken wings, and we made home made pizza. We let people sample our whiskeys and other odds and ends of things. And then we played Last Night on Earth to the soundtrack of Re: Your Brains. Which, of course, interested Toki. So I emailed him the mp3 to enjoy at home.

Over all, besides being sick and having a partially swollen tongue, it was a good night. At least I'm happy with how it went. And I think that I will start doing two things monthly.

Thing one: Board game/card game night. It will be a serious night where we have something or a few things in particular picked out and depending on turn out will depend on what we play.

Thing two: Shadowrun night. This, especially, will be awesome.

These things will fill my Saturdays, but that's okay. Might be able to move it to Sunday for the gaming or even to a regular week night. We'll see.

It would be great to have more people for games. I would love if we could do two kinds of game nights, too. One for people who want easy silly party games and one for people who want to play the hard core 3-4 hour euro-games. We can surely accommodate both.
